News: Partnership consults public on new prospectus

“Durham Castle and Cathedral World Heritage Site is one of the jewels of our rich historic environment in the region. The reinvigorated Strategic Partnership Board has a vision in the draft Management Plan which both champions and protects the heritage, and helps this amazing site to deliver economic, social and educational benefit for us all.”  Tom Frater, Regional Director, Historic England has welcomed the new Management Plan Prospectus 2024-2035, 

We would like to know what you think.  Comments are invited until Monday 25 November.  Public consultation is running alongside consultation on Durham City Strategic Place Plan and Durham City Conservation Area Management Plan.  This is your chance to help shape Durham City’s future and to protect the cultural heritage of Durham city.
